The famed Calusa Blueway Paddle Trail is right in our backyard and we can provide maps,give directions, and advise you about the best places to go and local conditions if you are in town paddle touring. With beautiful barrier islands, indian shell mounds, winding mangrove backcountry and scenic inland waterways, there is plenty to see here for the traveling sea kayaker. Many of our islands allow camping and there are a number of kayak friendly bed and breakfasts, hotels, restaurants, and even bars! Although we are nationally known as a kayak fishing pro shop, many people aren't aware the we are also a full service touring kayak shop. Our love of long boats and traditional kayaking is actually one of the main things that sets us apart in the kayak fishing world - we know the importance of a well-designed kayak and good paddling skills no matter if you are going out for an hour paddle, a day of kayak fishing, or an extended kayak camping trip.
