If you have ever heard
the phrase "to boga a fish", well this is what it
is all about.

The boga's stainless steel construction
resists
corrosion and will last many seasons of abuse.

This
high quality fish landing, handling, and weighing tool is designed
to tightly grip the lower jawbone of most fresh and saltwater
fish including toothy pike and barracuda. The simple one-handed
operation will land and accurately weigh fish up to 30 lbs.
The Boga Grip is compact enough for wade or surf fishermen and
is perfect for catch and release photos. The 15# Boga
weighs in 1/4 pound increments and the 30# Boga weighs in 1/2
pound increments. Either can be IGFA Certified for anglers who
are in pursuit of world record fish. |

Our own
Jason Le Valley used his boga to land this trophy Pine Island
snook. Remember to support larger fish beneath the
belly to avoid putting undue stress on the fish's throat and
gill muscles.
All of us at Angler's Outlet practice and
promote Catch and Release fishing. Yes, we do enjoy
a good filet from time to time, but any fish not kept for
consumption should be returned to the water in such a manner
to protect its well being and value to both the ecology and
our great sport of fishing. If you would like to learn
more about how to release fish without injuring them, then
please visit our Catch
and Release Information Page.
